"The special one" with one of his siblings from a litter by
THOR INFANTE DE GIFFORD x SEA DOGS CALEY CAROLL
breeder Karen Caroll
For centuries, well
before PWDs were registered in Portugal for the first time by Vasco Bensaude
in 1937, white PWDs were seen in fishing boats along side black, brown and
even grey PWDs.
White PWDs are born ivory, have dark brown eyes, with dark pigmentation and
blueish skin.
White PWDs do not develop ticking.
EXTREME WHITE
PIEBOLD dogs born white
develop black or brown spots like Dalmatians.
"In
order to preserve the founding memories of history, I made it
my task to bring forward my knowledge of dogs and people as I
knew them along, answering questions that grew in my mind as
I was confronted with those realities involved in the
fascinating world of the PWD."
